Dave Bautista has seen quite the body transformation in recent times, with his latest red carpet appearance leaving fans shocked.
Before making a name for himself in the world of film, with the likes of 2014’s Guardians of the Galaxy and 2021’s Dune, Bautista was known for a stellar career in WWE.
The now well-known actor started his wrestling career in 1999 with his debut match, before joining the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) in 2000.
The 55-year-old was later promoted to the WWE’s main roster, making him a mainstay in the competition.
Bautista won the World Heavyweight Championship in 2005 and carried on wrestling until 2010 when he quit WWE.
That wasn’t the last we saw of the actor on the wrestling stage however, as Bautista quit and rejoined WWE on several occasions before bringing an end to this wrestling career once and for all in 2019.
The Sun reports Bautista weighed around 290lbs during his wresting career, and even went up to 370lbs.
But it seems Bautista has had dramatic a transformation for his latest role as Joe Flood in The Killer’s Game – a movie that is set to release in cinemas across the US on Friday (September 13).
An official synopsis for the films reads: “Diagnosed with a terminal illness, top hit man Joe Flood decides to take matters into his own hands and take a hit out on himself.
“However, when the very men he hires also target his ex-girlfriend, he must fend off an army of assassins and win back the love of his life before it’s too late.”
For the part, Bautista is said to have dropped to 240lbs after going on an intense diet over the past year and a bit.
