A video posted online has got everyone freaking out and all asking the same question: Where did the man go?
After a Twitter user posted a video which showed a man wearing speedos jumping feet first into a natural pool of water beside a small waterfall, concerned commenters are wondering where exactly he went.
The video, which doesn’t show where in the world it was filmed, shows the man as he is above three individuals, standing on a cave-like surface before he fixes his swimming goggles and leaps into the pool.
However, while you’d expect to see him pop back to the surface just seconds later, all you can see are a burst of bubbles and he sinks down.
The clips show the people standing below him enjoying the waterfall, realize that he didn’t come back for air and begin swiping at the water to see if they can spot him.
But he’s nowhere to be found.
Now, commenters are worried for his safety and are calling for an update on the swimmer.
One person wrote in the comments: “Ok I really want to know if he is okay! Who has details???” as another said: “Why are they digging through the water like it’s actually gonna do something.”
Someone else wrote: “He may not be ok, and if it’s a cave system under it, the water could have drawn him down under. I hope he’s alright, though.”
Finally, someone brought up a scary thought, theorizing: “I couldn’t find anything else about this video, but looking at all those bubbles being freed up when he jumped in might indicate a naturally ‘aerated’ pool of water. If so, he wouldn’t be able to swim back up since the water’s density is far too low.”
